Types of Mesothelioma

The three main sub types of mesothelioma are grouped according to how the cells look under the microscope, and are:-

Epithelioid Mesothelioma 
About 50% to 70% of mesothelioma occurrences are of the epithelioid mesothelioma type.

Sarcomatoid Mesothelioma 
About 7% to 20% of mesothelioma occurrences are of the sarcomatoid mesothelioma type..

Biphasic Mesothelioma 
About 20% to 35% of mesothelioma occurrences are of the biphasic mesothelioma type.
